As Assistant Trade Marketing Manager, you will work as part of the our Sales Division’s Retail Engagement and Services team supporting the Senior Trade Marketing Manager and Retail Account Team Sales VP’s with the planning and execution of omnichannel nail and lash retail marketing strategic initiatives. Responsibilities include the planning, execution and management of events and activations for national key retail partners such as Walmart, Target, CVS and ULTA, analysis of outcomes, making recommendations on support initiatives that will result in improved outcomes, and working collaboratively with the Retail Engagement Digital Operations team on retail.com activities.

 

Job Description:
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work with the Senior Trade Marketing Manager and Retail Account Team Sales VP’s to plan and execute instore and online retail marketing plans for key accounts to ensure nail and lash new launches and promotional tentpole programs receive the proper support.  Work collaboratively with the National Marketing, social media, and public relations teams to align retail and national activities, leveraging national assets whenever possible.  Conduct post-activity analysis and report on results achieved verses key performance indicator benchmarks set.  Make recommendations on changes to future activities to support continuous improvement.
Partner with internal digital content teams, outside agencies and influencers, to develop and execute marketing campaigns.  Create retail specific social content when needed and post.
Develop and execute programs for retail account influencers and beauty advisors that result in authentic user generated social content for our nail and lash brands.
Support the planning and execution of consumer and retailer PR and education events.
Bring new and creative ideas forward on revenue generating, social content and educational opportunities.  Work within Retail Account business development and co-op budgets, maximizing spend and/or coming up with activities that can be executed internally with no cost impact to budgets.
Manage the planogram graphic update process for assigned accounts ensuring Retail requirements and deadlines are met.  Perform post-planogram reset reviews, identifying fixture, graphic or POG reset issues and working with the Sales VP and Retail Account to resolve.
Develop cross functional relationships to ensure all deliverables are aligned with product launches, retailer timelines and national brand strategies.
Provide Sales Team support for retailer specific requests such as display and product comps, samples, product images, mailings, and miscellaneous requests.
Present activity recaps and status report to Senior Trade Marketing Manager and Retail Account Team Sales VP’s and leadership on a regular basis.
Help create and format PowerPoint presentations for internal use and retailer meetings.
Expand knowledge on industry trends, competitive brands, and Retail strategies to provide impactful insights to Senior Trade Marketing Manager, Retail Account Team Sales VP’s, Retail Engagement & Services Director, and Sales leadership.
