U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement Homeland Security Investigations Newark arrested Anastacio Santiago Chaparro, also known as Arnoldo Urquidez, 41, of Mexico, while he was caught transporting a backpack that contained over 10 kilograms of cocaine on Nov. 6, 2023. Santiago Chaparro was sentenced to 110 months' imprisonment in June 2025 for trafficking cocaine and illegally reentering the United States after previously sustaining an aggravated felony conviction.
