Job Summary: Apple is looking for a Wireless Tools & Automation Engineer to enhance and automate development workflows for their software and hardware platforms. The role involves collaborating with various engineering teams to innovate and solve complex engineering challenges while improving the productivity of developers globally.
Responsibilities: • Automate development workflows • Device testing automation • Scaling developer lifecycle automation tools in Wireless teams Developer Tools ecosystem • Maintain build/test infrastructure • Deploy web portals • Mine data and create visualizations for analysis • Efficiently integrate and deliver software to iOS, macOS, tvOS and watchOS
Qualifications:
Required: • 1+ years of python development experience • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills • Proficient in using version tracking systems like git • Have some experience working with frontend, backend and databases • Have some automated testing experience • Experience in computer science or a related field commensurate with a 4-year degree
Preferred: • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Software profiling and optimization background • Passion for using or improving development tools • Understanding of Operating System fundamentals • Ability to analyze and visualize core concepts of new technologies
