A Florida federal judge on Monday trimmed a proposed class action complaint against the Everglades immigration detention center alleging attorney access to detainees and court proceedings have been denied, saying that a ruling on a Fifth Amendment violation would be moot after federal officials specified the court with administrative responsibility over the facility.
