This position is for someone that is looking to settle into a long-term career with a full service CPA firm. Our firm is growing and we are looking for the right individual to grow with us. We specialize in providing personalized accounting services to small and medium sized business. We are looking for someone that has the capacity to wear multiple hats and can grow with the company for the long term!
Requirements:
– Accounting background (BA or equivalent experience) required
– Positive attitude, with a great cognative and self learning skills
– Outstanding work ethic, enthusiastic, ability to take new tasks
– EXCELLENT communication skills & follow up skills REQUIRED
– Attention to detail
– Work dependent, rather than time dependent
– Ability to handle multiple projects
– Team player and ability to work independently
– Familiarity in Quickbooks, Peachtree and other accounting softwares (preferred, not required)
– Proficient in MS Word,Excel & Outlook
Job Responsibilities:
– Business & individual tax return preparation, preferably using Drake/UltraTax Softwares
– Communication with clients regarding paperwork and outstanding items
– Communication with regulatory (IRS, FTB, etc.) agencies
