Geoffrey K. Auyeung pleaded guilty in February and was sentenced June 9 for taking in fraud proceeds and forwarding them to coconspirators’ bank accounts and cryptocurrency addresses. In addition to the five-year sentence, he will also forfeit approximately $10 million.
