Job Description:
New Product Management (NPD)
Manage assigned categories NPD to develop new and innovative product from beginning to the end, also supporting to guarantee the on-time launch
Supervise to select the trendy and market responsive products of assigned category: Identify key product concept, finalize formula, shades, packaging & display type, managing timelines on formula & shades development, testing, production and launching date with marketing mix plan
Category Management
Set the target market and deploy strategy for new product to differentiate against competing products in the target segment
Manage market positioning, sales volume, future plan, and Goal for assigned categories.
Responsible for the competitive category presence in the market by introducing the innovative product and updating the current products.
Vendor Management
Vendor development and selection confirmation (E-Approval to management)
Build and maintain effective and strong relationships with manufacturers
Request new product inquiry to vendor including target container, color, formula, and price
Negotiate with vendors on new product price, COG targets and timing etc.
Lead project timeline: detail schedule of development and production
Request quotation and negotiate cost, lead time, & payment term for compatible price
Team Member Management
To manage and align team members according to company policy and the latest SOP and induce them to follow up the company rule and policy
To review team member’s yearly goal and KPI based on team’s goal and KPI.
To evaluate all team staffs’ performance, then propose re-organization, disposition, and job description revision of team personnel.
Education(s):
Bachelor of Science (B.S): Business Administration/Management
Work Experience:
Experience Range III: 4 – 8 years of relevant experience or industry exposure in a related field
