ICE today released new information on criminal illegal alien Ian Andre Roberts, who was serving as Des Moines, Iowa’s school superintendent at the time of his Sept. 26 arrest.
The information sought by federal authorities will assist with apprehending these violent criminal aliens and processing them from the United States in line with our nation’s immigration laws. Since 2021, Oregon public officials have disregarded immigration detainers and have released violent felons, who are likely subject to removal from the United States, into Oregon communities.

ICE Homeland Security Investigations and the U.S. Marshals Service arrested 11 illegal aliens between Sept. 10 and Sept. 22 for using counterfeit state IDs, driver’s licenses, and Social Security cards to gain employment in Arizona.
Acting ICE Director Todd M. Lyons sent a letter responding to Broadview Mayor Katrina R. Thompson's letter sent to ICE’s Chicago field office director Sept. 26. The mayor's letter made outlandish accusations, including of “making war” on the community of Broadview.
The individuals arrested had lawfully entered the United States; however, they violated the terms of their admission by overstaying their visas. In addition, many possess extensive criminal history involving theft and related offenses across multiple states.
