Job Description:
Position Summary The HR Benefits & Compliance Coordinator is responsible for administering employee benefit programs, maintaining personnel records, coordinating immigration and foreign workforce compliance activities, and ensuring compliance with applicable employment, immigration, and benefit regulations. This position serves as the primary point of contact for employee benefits, insurance administration, visa processing, and personnel compliance matters.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Benefits Administration Oversight of Company’s benefits program that includes medical, dental, vision, retirement, and voluntary benefit programs. Process employee enrollments, changes, and terminations. Coordinate annual open enrollment activities. Assist employees with benefit questions and claims resolution. Reconcile insurance carrier invoices and benefit deductions. Coordinate with payroll regarding employee benefit deductions. Maintain data and work with benefits broker during renewal periods
Compliance Administration Maintain personnel records and confidential employee files. Support HR audits and compliance reviews. Prepare required reports and regulatory documentation that include VETS reporting, OSHA 300 log, Employer’s Workplace Monthly Report (EWMR) etc. Coordinate required employee notices and disclosures. Ensure compliance with applicable federal, territorial, and local employment laws.
Immigration and Foreign Workforce Compliance Coordinate H-1B, H-2B, and other employment-based visa programs. Track visa expiration dates, renewals, and work authorization requirements. Administer repatriation bond requirements and documentation. Maintain immigration compliance records. Coordinate with legal counsel, government agencies, recruiters, and employees regarding immigration matters this includes ensure required reporting requirements are followed and submitted.
HR Systems Administration Maintain employee records in HR systems. Generate HR, benefits, and compliance reports. Utilize SINEX software with limited supervision to support personnel administration.
Minimum Qualifications Associate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Accounting, or related field required. Three (3) years of experience in Human Resources, Benefits Administration, Payroll, or Compliance. Experience administering employee benefit programs. Experience processing H-1B and H-2B visa programs. Experience administering repatriation bonds and immigration compliance requirements.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Advanced computer literacy. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Proficiency in BambooHR. Ability to learn and effectively utilize SINEX software with limited training. Knowledge of employee benefits administration. Knowledge of immigration compliance and foreign workforce administration. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
