We’re Hiring — Interior Designers (Intern / Part-Time / Full-Time)
Bella Luxe Living · Flushing, NY · On-siteBella Luxe Living is a Flushing-based home design and premium materials company specializing in custom cabinetry, interior finishes, and full-home solutions. We’re growing our design team and hiring across three levels to support residential and commercial projects from concept through installation.━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
WHAT YOU’LL DODevelop interior design concepts — space planning, layout, style direction, and material coordination — for residential and commercial spaces
Design custom cabinetry (kitchens, vanities, wardrobes, storage, TV units, display cabinets): layouts, internal configurations, door styles, hardware, materials
Lead material application across tiles, sintered stone, wall panels, flooring, veneer, furniture, lighting, fixtures, and hardware
Produce 2D/3D drawings, renderings, mood boards, material boards, and client presentations
Communicate with clients, present concepts, and revise based on feedback
Support site measurement, dimension checks, and coordination with installation, construction, and supply-chain teams

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FORExperience in interior design, custom cabinetry, or material selection
Familiarity with residential and commercial design workflows
Understanding of custom cabinetry structures and use cases
Strong material-pairing sense — or eagerness to learn finish materials
Solid aesthetic judgment across color, texture, and spatial mood
Able to read and produce floor plans, elevations, dimension sheets, cabinet diagrams, and renderings
Detail-oriented, collaborative, and able to deliver on schedule

SOFTWAREProficiency in one or more is preferred:Drafting — AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Chief Architect
Rendering — Enscape, V-Ray, 3ds Max
Cabinetry — 2020 Design, Cabinet Vision, Mozaik
Visual — Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Canva
AutoCAD and SketchUp are preferred. Rendering experience is a plus — you don’t need all of them.━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
NICE TO HAVEBackground in interior, architecture, environmental, furniture, or industrial design
Experience in kitchen/bath, closets, whole-home customization, showrooms, or design studios
NYC-area residential, apartment, or commercial project experience
Client communication, material sampling, site measurement, or project follow-up experience
Familiarity with American, modern, light-luxury, minimalist, Nordic / Japandi / Contemporary styles
Bilingual Chinese–English (preferred, not required)

COMPENSATION (hourly)Design Intern — $17.50–$22.00
Part-Time Junior Designer — $20.00–$28.00
Full-Time Interior Designer — $25.00–$35.00
