The Madison Club is hiring for Line Cooks who are passionate about food, beverage and the art of hospitality. Our company’s objective is to provide exceptional food and create memories for our members and guests.
The Madison Club is open during the winter & spring season, and this role will be for a full time, seasonal need from October 2025 – June 2026. Preferred candidates will have a flexible schedule, be able to work weekends & holidays, and understand that time off requests will not be honored during March or April (key event/ festival months).
Key Responsibilities
Continuously create and present new ideas to Executive Chef
Stock the kitchen with raw materials and ingredients on a daily basis
Master all basic cooking methods
Acquire ingredients daily for assigned station
Help and prepare food items as per standard recipe cards whilst maintaining portion control and minimizing waste
Maintain and clean equipment on a regular basis
Promptly report any hazards, unsafe working conditions, or equipment which requires repair/maintenance
Attend department meetings as necessary
Adhere to all Department of Health food & safety standards
Comply with company and department policies and procedures at all times
Carry out any other duties as and when assigned by the Management of the Hotel and department
Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen and storage areas at all times
Execution of recipes and ability to follow recipes and all house-made ingredients promptly and efficiently
All food should be plated and presented accordingly
Demonstrate sense of urgency for responding to guest needs during all interactions
Any other duties as assigned
Skills And Qualifications
1-2 years of full-service restaurant experience as a Line Cook or relevant position preferred
Farm-to-table experience highly desired
Ability to work in a team environment
Degree/Certification(s) recommended
Ability to stay calm and focused during the busiest of times
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holiday and a shift greater than eight (8) hours in length
Ability to read, write, speak and understand English; additional languages preferred
Ability to meet the physical demands of the position including, but not limited to, working indoors and outdoors, standing, walking, and moving for periods of greater than four (4) hours, and lifting, carrying, bending, stooping, squatting, reaching, pushing and pulling
Must be able to lift 40 lbs.
The hourly rate of $20-$22 is based on applicable and specialized experience and location.
