Job Description:
Begin date: 10/1/2026 Full Time: Yes Number of Workers Requested: 6 Job Duties: As a pipelayer helper, worker will assist foreman with installing sewer, water, or storm drainpipes, using small hand tools such as hammers, shears, cutteres, and bender, etc. Dig ditches or trenches for the purpose of pipe installation using picks, shovels and hoes. Perform some digging by hand, cutting, and gluing pipe, covering up water lines, clean equipment, and tools such as shovels and hoes. Clean or prepare construction sites to eliminate possible hazards. Perform lawn care maintenance by pruning and trimming trees, shrubs, and/or hedges. Plan trees, foliage, and bushes. Maintained the appearance of the lawn by mowing and edging. Manage tree and shrub care and maintain flower beds. Responsible for landscape installation activities, including installing floral beds and the preparation of existing areas of foliage and landscaping materials. Workers will also perform winterization tasks such as winter cutbacks on plants in order to properly prepare lawn or landscape for winter weather and new growth in the Spring. Maintain irrigation systems, including winterizing the systems before the temperatures drop. Job Classification: 47-3015.00 – Helpers–Pipelayers, Plumbers, Pipefitters, and Steamfitters Experience Required: No Special Requirements: The workers must be able to work in outside weather conditions, must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, and must know how to use garden tools, hand tools, and/or lawn mowing equipment such as mowers, tractors, electric clippers, sod cutters, or pruning saws. The workers will be subject to drug testing upon reasonable suspicion, paid by the employer and applied equally to all workers, U.S. and foreign/H-2B. Number of Hours Per Week: 40 Work Schedule (Start/End time): 7:00 A.M. – 5:00 P.M.
