Thomas Shannon, 44, previously of Byron Center, was sentenced to 60 years in prison for sexual exploitation of children on Feb. 23.
Cynthia Raygoza, 38, of Riverside, and Ashleigh Brown, 38, of Aurora, Colorado, were each convicted of one count of stalking.
Mohammad Nazeer Paktiawal, 41, a criminal illegal alien from Afghanistan, passed away March 14 at the Parkland Hospital in Dallas, Texas.
On March 4, ICE removed Solomon Bogale, a member of the deadly paramilitary organization Fano, back to Ethiopia. Fano has been designated as a terrorist group by the Ethiopian government.
These individuals, all with prior convictions for sex crimes, were taken into custody as part of ICE’s ongoing commitment to public safety and the removal of dangerous criminals from our communities. They will face justice for their crimes and will be removed from the United States, never to terrorize our communities again.
As a group, the arrested criminal illegal aliens accounted for 761 child sex offenses and 525 other criminal offenses ranging from homicide to robbery.
A Syrian national wanted in the United States for conspiracy to smuggle special interest illegal aliens into the country, was extradited March 4 to El Paso.
