A Washington, D.C., federal judge denied the government’s motion to dismiss a lawsuit from an Afghan asylum-seeker and legal services providers over a Biden-era asylum rule, saying on Wednesday that the U.S. Department of Justice “jumped the gun” in trying to get the suit tossed.
